Derrick Cantor, director at Telcojobs, said they needed a change of direction. "We were referred to Eamonn at Atlantic Technology who took up our case". At the time, telcojobs was in competition with a market full of 800lb gorillas like Jobserve and Monster. Atlantic Technology market analysis and redesign focused on narrowing the niche to a market big enough for telcojobs to target specific revenues and clients.
After complex keyword analysis and search engine optimisation, telcojobs was designed with a new niche in mind "Telecom Jobs Europe". Cantor recalls "Once we had a target niche our team became much more focused. The SEO meant we were getting very relevant and targeted traffic from the search engines, and the PPC campaign really kick-started leads".
Telcojobs now dominates the niche it was targeted for and is now concentrating on moving up the value chain by targeting more competitive keywords. "Our extra revenues now allow us to to break into bigger niches in our industry" says Derrick. "And the professional site redesign has really allowed us to attract clients - our bounce rate has gone way down!"
